DJ Koze is a DJ and electronic music producer born in 1972 in Hamburg, Germany. Active since the 1990s, he is known for his work under the alias DJ Koze and was a member of a Hamburg-based hip-hop group. He later transitioned into electronic music and gained recognition as a solo artist. In 2009, he founded his own label, releasing music by himself and other artists in the electronic and house music scenes.
