DJ Marcelle, also known as Another Nice Mess, is a musician, DJ, producer, and radio broadcaster based in Amsterdam. She performs live globally and is a resident DJ at events such as the Nyege Nyege Festival in Uganda. Renowned for her innovative sonic experimentation, Marcelle utilizes a unique three-turntable setup to create unexpected fusions of genres, including raw techno, dub, electronics, post-punk, field recordings, singeli, dancehall, animal sounds, and electronic avant-garde. With decades of experience in clubs, museums, radio, and festivals, she has released music on labels like Cortizona, Jahmoni, and Klangbad.
