DJ Maury, whose real name is Jean-Claude Maury, is best known for his contributions to the New Beat era in Belgium during the late 1980s. Born in Marseille, France, he later moved to Brussels, Belgium, where he became a DJ at the renowned club Mirano. Additionally, he is rumored to have been one of the original DJs at Pacha, Ibiza in the late 1960s, as well as at Glory's and later at Amnesia.
