DJ Spinna is a DJ and producer born and raised in Brooklyn on January 30, 1973. He began his recording career in 1994 as a member of an underground hip hop group. Throughout his career, DJ Spinna has broken down musical barriers between hip hop, deep house, soul, and jazz, collaborating with a diverse range of artists. He has notable side projects, including his alter ego, and runs a label.
