DJ Spun is a New York-based DJ and producer originally from Northern California. He owns and operates the Rong Music label, which he has headed since 2003. Rong Music is a dual imprint collaboration with DFA, Tu Rong, and Promo Only, and it played a significant role in bringing the worldwide disco edit craze to America. While his productions are rooted in the electronic genre, DJ Spun's musical journey began with punk rock, progressed through hip hop, and the birth of house music, continuing to evolve to this day.
