DJ Stonik1917, whose real name is Leonid, began his musical journey with guitar music and toured "The Golden Ring of Russia" with his band Robot Monsta. He later launched a solo project called Батерс, which blends stoner rock and rap. In 2023, Leonid adopted the pseudonym DJ Stonik1917 and released an upbeat house album titled "Happy House," featuring the viral song "GoodDayFlopTray." The nickname Stonik (Стоник) is slang for the Stone Island brand and is inspired by a character from the computer game DayZ.
