**Bio: DJ T-1000** Real Name: Alan Oldham DJ T-1000 is one of Detroit's most talented and respected techno mixers, known for his significant contributions to the Motor City scene as a label-head, producer, and DJ. Initially a graphic-design specialist and comics illustrator, Oldham studied media at Wayne State University in Detroit. He was hired to illustrate sleeves for various releases, which sparked his interest in the electronic music scene. Oldham transformed his Fast Forward radio program on WDET from industrial and fusion music into a platform for techno from 1987 to 1992, introducing thousands of listeners to the genre through productions from notable artists such as Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins, Underground Resistance, and Carl Craig, among others. The show concluded in 1992 when he accepted an offer to tour as the replacement DJ for another artist. In the same year, he established his own label, Generator, which produced seminal releases from his projects and tracks by other artists. In 1996, he closed Generator and launched a new label, further solidifying his reputation as a top DJ worldwide. His mix albums, "Supercollider" and "Live Sabotage: Live in Belgium," showcased his exceptional mixing skills, while his debut full-length production, "Progress," was released on Tresor in 1999.
