D'Marc Cantu is a US-based producer known for his work in Acid house and Jakbeat, which he began exploring in the late 2000s. Combining modern editing techniques with classic drum machines and synthesizers, he successfully recreated the sound he loved. His early Acid house tracks garnered the attention of prominent DJs like Traxx and JTC, leading to a substantial catalog of music. In 2005, D'Marc collaborated with JTC to form 2AMFM, producing notable tracks such as "Acid Planes" and "Sweatbox" under Ghostly International’s sub-label, Spectral. He later joined forces with Traxx and JTC to create the group X2, touring Europe with these legendary DJs. D'Marc is recognized for his contributions to labels including Nation, Crème, MOS, Run-Out-Run, and Sequencias. After nearly 15 years in the industry, he continues to advance Jakbeat and refine his distinctive sound.
