Do Make Say Think is an instrumental rock band formed in Toronto in 1995-96. They self-released their debut album in 1997, which was later re-issued by Constellation Records in 1998. The founding members include Ohad Benchetrit, James Payment, Justin Small, and Charles Spearin, while Jason MacKenzie contributed to the first two albums before Dave Mitchell joined in 1998. The band is known for their critically acclaimed albums that blend elements of psych, jazz, punk, and electronica, pushing the boundaries of generic post-rock. They have developed a loyal fanbase in North America and Europe and have toured extensively in both regions as well as in Asia. Do Make Say Think's recordings are characterized by a unique and independent approach to production, with Charles and Ohad forming a distinctive production team at Ohad's studio, th’Schvitz. The members are also involved in various other musical projects. Their sixth full-length album was released in the autumn of 2009.
