Dom Um Romao was a Brazilian jazz drummer, percussionist, and composer, born on August 3, 1925, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He passed away on July 27, 2005, in the same city. Throughout his career, he played with numerous artists and was a member of a notable group from 1971 to 1974. He recorded as a leader for various labels.
