Dominic Frontiere was an American composer, arranger, and jazz accordionist, born on June 17, 1931, in New Haven, Connecticut. He passed away on December 21, 2017, in Tesuque, New Mexico. Frontiere is best known for composing the theme and much of the music for the first season of the television series The Outer Limits, which aired from 1963 to 1965.
