Dominique Fils-Aimé is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter whose musical inspiration stems from soul legends of the 40s and 60s, including Billie Holiday, Etta James, and Nina Simone. She gained recognition in 2015 by reaching the semi-finals on The Voice, captivating audiences with her sultry and authentic voice. In 2018, Dominique released her debut full-length album, Nameless, which addressed historical silences and sorrows through a blues-tinged lens. Her latest work, Stay Tuned!, serves as both a call for revolution and a reminder of it, infused with the passionate essence of red-hot jazz. Seeking to break free from traditional musical structures, Dominique's body of work reflects her desire for liberation in her compositions.
