Don Drummond was a pioneering Jamaican trombonist and composer, best known as one of the founding members of the legendary ska band The Skatalites. A graduate of the Alpha Boys School in Kingston, he became a central figure in shaping the sound of early ska with his distinctive melodic style and jazz-infused arrangements.
