Don Airey is an English rock keyboardist, born on June 21, 1948, in Sunderland. Since 1974, he has been involved in numerous hard rock and heavy metal projects, collaborating with notable artists such as Ozzy Osbourne, Cozy Powell, Gary Moore, Rainbow, Thin Lizzy, and Deep Purple. In addition to his work in rock, Airey has participated in various commercial projects and released solo albums. Notably, he orchestrated and conducted the winning UK Eurovision entry "Love Shine a Light" by Katrina & The Waves in 1997. He is also the brother of a guitarist and keyboardist.
