Don Covay & The Goodtimers were a US soul group known for their vibrant sound and talented lineup. The group featured Dud Bascomb on trumpet, Buddy Lucas on tenor saxophone, and Haywood Henry on baritone saxophone. Horace Ott contributed on piano and organ, while Bob Bushnell and Billy Butler played guitar. Ron Miller was on bass, and Bernard Purdie provided the drums. The lead vocals were delivered by Don Covay, who was a prominent figure in the group.
