Don King was a no-wave/art rock/jazz band formed in New York in the spring of 1981 by Mark Cunningham, Connie Burg, and Duncan Lindsay. They released a cassette on Cunningham's label, Hyrax, in 1983, and later added Arto Lindsay and Toni Noguiera on percussion, resulting in the release of the One-Two Punch LP. After touring Europe, Cunningham and Burg collaborated with Tony Maimone and Bill Perry for several recordings, which were released about a decade later. The band ceased to perform by the end of 1987.
