Don Pascal is a DJ, record collector, radio producer, and music producer born in Toulouse and currently based in London. He has been an influential figure in the music scene since emerging from Paris's underground in the early 1990s, where he connected with the Radio Nova crew. After moving to Barcelona, he became the resident DJ at Café Royale, a hotspot for discerning music lovers. Now in London, Don Pascal is recognized for his genre-blending productions and deeply informed DJ sets that merge African and Latin sounds with contemporary club music. As a member of the Jivers alongside French DJ/producer Fred Spider, and part of September Sun and Brukonics with UK producer Tom Funk, Don Pascal has made significant contributions to the music landscape. His solo works include "The Cali Experiment" on Tru Thoughts Records, "Deep Throw" on Broadcite Music, and both The Dakar Experiment and The Mindelo Experiment on R2 Records. With a foundation in crate-digging culture and a passion for the Afro-Atlantic diaspora, he creates richly layered grooves that combine analog textures, jazz harmony, and percussive intensity, effortlessly transitioning between dance-floor energy and sonic storytelling.
