Donnell Pittman is a soul vocalist hailing from Chicago, Illinois. He is celebrated in modern disco circles for his infectious rarity "Love Explosion," released in 1982. However, it is the unreleased gem "Burning Up" that he introduced during The Chicago Party in April of that same year. Both "Burning Up" and its exquisite flip side "A Taste Of Honey" were recorded at Chicago's Paragon Studios. These tracks, written by Jesus Wayne, were brought back to light when a cassette master was found in the briefcase of a former manager, marking a high point in the Chicago disco scene.
