The Doobie Brothers are a blue-eyed soul and roots rock band formed in San Jose, California. With over 40 million albums sold worldwide, they have made a significant impact on the music scene. The band was fronted by different leaders during its early years, with one leading from 1970 to 1975 and another from 1975 to 1982. Although the group officially split in 1982, they re-formed in 1987, with Johnston resuming the lead role. Throughout their career, they have released 13 albums, with classics such as "Long Train Runnin'," "Black Water," "What a Fool Believes," and "Minute by Minute" solidifying their legacy.
