Doug Parkinson is a musician who first gained prominence as the lead singer of the band originally named In Focus, which changed its name to Doug Parkinson In Focus in March 1968. The band achieved success with several singles, although they did not release any albums. The group disbanded in mid-1970 when Doug and the drummer were invited to join another band. Following this, Doug was part of Fanny Adams, which recorded one album before breaking up in early 1971 amid internal conflicts. Doug then reunited with former band members and an ex-drummer to create a new version of In Focus, but this incarnation of the band also ended in early 1972. Subsequently, Doug pursued a solo career.
