Download is a musical project that originated from a series of unstructured jams by Cevin Key and Dwayne Goettel, along with various collaborators. Initially, it functioned as a supergroup featuring multiple members and guest artists. However, by the time of their 1997 album "III," the lineup had reduced to Cevin Key, Phil Western, and Anthony Valcic. For all subsequent studio albums, the duo consisted solely of Key and Western.
