Dr. Alban is a Swedish musician, producer, and dentist, born on August 26, 1957, in Oguta, Imo, Federation of Nigeria. He operated his own dentistry practice, which inspired his stage name. Dr. Alban is best known for his early 1990s hits, including "Hello Afrika," "It's My Life," and "Sing Hallelujah!" He also owns a record label called DR Records.
