Dreadsquad is a prominent music project from Poland, known for its dancefloor-friendly riddim and bassline creations. Established in 2001 by Marek Bogdanski, the project has gained recognition for blending Jamaican sounds such as Reggae, Dub, Dancehall, Ska, and Rocksteady with contemporary genres like Breakbeat, Jungle, Dubstep, and Garage. Based in the Superfly Studio in Lodz, Dreadsquad has produced numerous mashups and remixes, achieving success in Polish Sound Clash competitions. This led to extensive touring across Poland and beyond, including performances in the USA, Canada, Brazil, India, and Japan. Dreadsquad has collaborated with a variety of renowned Jamaican and European artists, including Ward 21, Tenor Fly, Top Cat, General Levy, U Brown, Milion Stylez, Lady Chann, Tipa Irie, Jah Mason, Perfect Giddimani, and Dr Ring Ding, among others. To date, Dreadsquad has released four mixtapes, four full-length producer albums, and a range of vinyl and digital singles that have topped charts in Europe's best DJ shops and gained traction in the playlists of leading DJs worldwide. The Dreadsquad sound is a dynamic fusion influenced by diverse cultures, anchored in Jamaican Soundsystem culture and modern Bass music, establishing it as a formidable force in the music scene.
