Dres is an American rapper, producer, and artist born on March 18, 1967. He is best known as a former member of the hip hop group that was part of the Native Tongues collective of artists. Dres later rejoined with Mista Lawnge for a long-overdue third album entitled "2007." However, shortly after its release, Mista Lawnge left the group, allowing Dres to continue to release music under the Black Sheep name.
