**Drug Free America** Formed in 1987 and disbanded in 1990, Drug Free America (DFA) began as an Electronic Rock group reminiscent of Zodiac Mindwarp And The Love Reaction. The band received critical acclaim from both music press and fans during their initial run. However, after three years, they faced burnout, prompting member Steve Dixon to travel the world, where he was introduced to Acid and House music. In 1992, Steve and Brian Dixon reformed the band, this time focusing on a sound that incorporated Acid, Dance, and Techno, without vocals and guitars. Their new direction caught the attention of Peaceville's Hammy, who signed them to his Dreamtime label. Original guitarist Paul rejoined the band, and vocalist Hayley Windsor was brought on board. In 1997, DFA recorded their final album for Dreamtime. Currently, Brian Moss and Hayley Windsor perform with Mirazma, while Steve Dixon passed away in 2007.
