Duo Los Compadres was a Cuban duet formed in 1949, consisting of Lorenzo Hierrezuelo, known as Compay Primo, who took the first vocals, and Francisco Repilado, who provided the second vocals. In 1953, Compay Segundo was replaced by Reynaldo Hierrezuelo, also known as Rey Caney, who was Lorenzo's brother. The duo remained active until Lorenzo's death in 1993.
