Edu Ventura, known as DuoScience, is a Brazilian producer from São Paulo. He was first introduced to music in childhood, inspired by watching his uncle perform samba. As a teenager, he developed a passion for music from the 1950s to the 1980s, including genres like R&B, Soul, Funk, and Gospel. Influenced by iconic artists such as Earth, Wind & Fire, Stevie Wonder, Billy Paul, The Isley Brothers, The Commodores, Dionne Warwick, and Roberta Flack, he cultivated a deep appreciation for quality music. In 1997, DuoScience decided to pursue a career as a music producer, drawing inspiration from figures like DJ Premier, 2Pac, Bone, Brian McKnight, Roni Size, DJ Hype, and Adam F. Currently, he has released three EPs and collaborated with various artists, gaining support from notable DJs including Crissy Criss (BBC 1Xtra), Stunna, In: Sight, Jason Magin, Digital & Outrage, Utah Jazz, Bailey, and others.
