Duplex is a musical duo comprised of John Matze and Chris Callahan, hailing from Rotterdam. They began creating soulful techno music together in 1995. Their work has been released through several labels, including Dolly, Clone Records, Frantic Flowers, Klakson, Field Records, Dub Recordings, and Harbour City Sorrow. The duo's sound features a blend of Disco, Funk, (Detroit) Techno, Electro, and House elements.
