Dyan Diamond is a singer-songwriter who gained recognition after the breakup of her band, Venus & the Razor Blades, in 1977. Following the split, she embarked on a solo career, collaborating with producer Kim Fowley. In 1978, she signed with MCA Records and released her debut solo album, "In The Dark," which was produced by Fowley. Unfortunately, the album did not achieve commercial success, leading to her being dropped by the label.
