Dynamic Superiors was a soul and disco vocal quintet formed in 1963 in Washington, DC. They gained popularity for their refined harmony vocals, and their lead vocalist was openly gay, often performing in drag. The group released four albums in the mid-1970s under Motown Records, with their biggest hit being the romantic sweet soul ballad "Shoe Shoe Shine." In 1980, they released their final album, "The Sky's The Limit." At one point, they shared some members with another group.
