Dzyan was a German jazz and krautrock group formed in late 1971, originating from Frankfurt and Mannheim. They quickly recorded their first album in 1972, which primarily featured progressive rock infused with jazz elements. After experiencing several lineup changes, the band evolved towards jazz rock and eventually incorporated Asiatic elements into their music. Dzyan disbanded at the end of 1974.
