Emmanuel Corre, known as E-Talking, is one half of the French duo Nummer, alongside his long-time friend Silvère Letellier. Recently, he has embarked on a new musical journey under the E-Talking moniker, debuting with the track "Téléphone Rose" released in 2018 through the esteemed Blue Series of AD93. This track signifies a transition from Nummer's style while still aligning with Emmanuel's artistic aspirations, showcasing a unique blend of influences ranging from acid-informed electronics to bassy deconstructionism, along with house and techno elements. Emmanuel's early experiences at Kristina Records in London played a pivotal role in shaping his eclectic approach, which is evident in his sets and productions. His first full-length album, "Techno Man’s Land," released in 2021 by Going Good, is a 15-track exploration that traverses various soundscapes, including lysergic escapism, early 90s sound design, tribal polyrhythms, and experimental abstraction. This debut long-player allowed him to push the boundaries of his imagination, merging intricate melodic and rhythmic elements. The E-Talking project has gained traction with contributions to labels like Early Reflex, Nerv, Nasty Enterprises, and Chanoirs. Following a successful two-year residency on Rinse France and regular appearances on HÖR, Emmanuel Corre's artistic vision is set to unfold further, making him an artist to watch.
