Earl Sweatshirt, born Thebe Neruda Kgositsile on February 24, 1994, is an American rapper and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He initially went by the name Sly Tendencies when he began rapping but changed it after being invited by Tyler, the Creator to join the alternative hip hop collective Odd Future in late 2009.
