Ebony Bones, whose real name is Ebony Thomas, is a British singer-songwriter, record producer, and actress. She began her career at the age of 12 when she was discovered by Mark Rylance, the Artistic Director of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, for his production of Macbeth. Before venturing into music, Ebony was primarily known for her role as Yasmin McHugh, the resident "glamour puss," on the TV drama Family Affairs from 1998 to 2005. Her performance in the series earned her nominations for The British Soap Awards "Sexiest Female" in 2002, 2003, and 2004, as well as for "Best Comedy Actor" in 2004 and 2005.
