Ed Starink is a keyboardist, songwriter, and producer born on December 17, 1952, in the Netherlands. During the 1970s, he formed a pop-jazz group and worked as a session musician and recording engineer. In 1982, he established his own studio and later founded a record label in 1986, focusing on albums featuring cover versions and interpretations of popular songs and classical repertoire. From 1989 to 1996, he collaborated with a label, releasing many best-selling albums, including the notable series.
