eddie and ernie

Eddie and Ernie are a 1960s soul duo hailing from Phoenix, Arizona. Before forming their duo, they sang in gospel groups and worked as backing vocalists in the early 1960s. They made their first recordings together in 1963, initially performing as Ernie & Eddie, and also pursued solo projects. Their biggest R&B hit came in 1965 with "Time Waits For No One." In 1971, they joined a local group. Musically, they are often compared to other artists of their time.
