Eddie Hill, born on July 21, 1921, in Delano, Tennessee, was a talented country and rockabilly guitarist. In addition to his music career, he also worked as a disc jockey at WSM in Nashville, Tennessee. Hill was involved in acting, appearing in films such as "Forty Acre Feud" (1965) and "The Gold Guitar" (1966), as well as the TV program "The Early Morning Show" (1954). He recorded the song "Steamboat Stomp" with Hank Garland in the 1950s. He was also known by the alternate name "Smilin' Eddie Hill." Eddie Hill passed away on January 18, 1994, in Tennessee.
