Eddie Kendricks was an American singer and songwriter, best known by his stage name. He was known for his distinctive falsetto singing style and co-founded a Motown vocal group. As a solo artist, Kendricks recorded several hits during the 1970s, including a number-one single. He also founded a label. Born on December 17, 1939, in Union Springs, Alabama, he passed away on October 5, 1992, in Alabama.
