Edna Wright was born on February 2, 1945, in Los Angeles, California, USA. She was a vocalist and a founding member of the group Honey Cone, which she was part of from 1968 to 1973. After her time with Honey Cone, she pursued a career as a session singer. Edna was also a sister, a wife, and a mother. She passed away on September 12, 2020.
