Edson Maciel is a Brazilian trombone player from Belo Horizonte, MG. He is the brother of Ed Maciel, who is also a trombone player. Recognized as one of the best trombone players in the world, Edson has collaborated with renowned musicians such as Raul de Souza, Dom Um Romão, Eumir Deodato, João Donato, Sergio Mendes, Victor Assis Brasil, Tenório Jr., and Orquestra Tabajara.
