Eduardo Bort was a Spanish rock guitarist and singer born in 1948. He gained acclaim for his 1975 debut solo album, which is regarded as a classic of Spanish progressive rock, featuring a distinctive song style with grand arrangements and dual keyboards, including Mellotron and synthesizers. After an eight-year hiatus, he returned with a more mellow second album, which included a track dedicated to Carlos Santana. Bort continued to produce recordings and remained active as a musician until 2013. He passed away on February 26, 2020, after a long battle with cancer at the age of 72.
