Eesah, born Ackime Nathaniel Nephew on April 17, 1991, in Kingston, Jamaica, grew up amidst the vibrant culture of Kingston and the serene vibes of St. Thomas. His passion for music ignited through friendships and the influence of artists like Supercat. Initially an audio engineer at Jah Over Evil Studio, Eesah worked with both emerging and established artists before a pivotal encounter with veteran artist Little Joe, who encouraged him to pursue singing. Eesah recorded his first track, “Red, Purple, Green and Yellow,” and later joined the 12 Tribes of Israel movement, which deepened his spiritual foundation. Performing under the name Jahkime initially, he released his debut EP "Cannabis" in 2012, which gained international recognition. His single “Dread at the Control” in 2013 became a roots anthem, evolving into the track “Perfect Tree” with Chronixx. In 2014, he released the EP "Believe in Love," and his collaboration with Chronixx on “Perfect Tree” further expanded his reach across the Caribbean. The name “Eesah,” derived from a St. Thomas slang for emphasis, replaced his previous stage name, marking a new phase in his career. Eesah co-wrote “Black Marcus” in 2015 and launched the Lords of the Land project. His presence on Chronixx’s 2016 mixtape "Roots and Chalice" amplified
