Eiichi Ohtaki was a singer, songwriter, arranger, and producer from Iwate Prefecture in northern Honshu, Japan. He was born on July 28, 1948, and passed away on December 30, 2013. Ohtaki is known for releasing much of his material on his own label, which he originally established in 1974. He is credited as 大瀧詠一 when writing songs and as 大滝詠一 when performing as a singer.
