El Belo was an Angolan musician born in April 1949 in Luanda, Angola. He co-founded the Kissanguela group and was a brother to a singer and songwriter, as well as a nephew of the notable figure in Angolan popular music, Mamukueno. El Belo passed away on May 29, 2017, in Luanda, Angola.
