El Opio was a psychedelic and acid rock band from Surquillo, Lima, Peru, active from 1972 to 1975. They were known for their unique "Huayno Rock" style, which blended traditional Indian melodies with psychedelic rock. Some of their best-known songs include "Recordándote," "Piratas en el Titicaca," "Juntos," and "Una Bruja en el Cuzco."
