El Rego et ses Commandos is a Beninese band that originated in Cotonou, Dahomey (now Benin) in 1963. Initially formed under a different name, the band was renamed to Los Paras in 1964, then to Los Commandos in 1965, and finally adopted the name El Rego Et Ses Commandos in 1966.
