**Bio: El Santo Golpe** El Santo Golpe is a vibrant band from Riverside, California, formed in 2016 with the vision of creating an original sound within the realm of Afro-Latin music. The group, comprised of close friends and family, blends various musical influences, including Cumbia, Son Jarocho, Garifuna, African Drum Beats, poetry, and folkloric dance, to bring a unique and enjoyable experience to their audience. The band is led by Ulises Rodríguez, who serves as the vocalist and accordion player. The ensemble also features Analy García and Eduvina Orozco as dancers, alongside percussionists Ivan McCormick, Jorge “Suggy-Oso” Canchola, Danny Orozco, and José Luis “Aguatl” Ledezma, who also plays the accordion. Alex Reyes contributes on bass and vocals. El Santo Golpe embodies the spirit of the Diaspora, representing a rich cultural heritage and the fusion of diverse musical traditions. Their work reflects the importance of cultural expression and the enduring hope that accompanies the movement of people around the world.
