El Sindykato was a psych band from Uruguay active from 1969 to 1974. Known for their diverse musical style, they incorporated elements of psychedelic rock, candombeat, afrobeat, prog rock, and folk rock. The band was founded by Juan E. Des Crescenzio, Miguel A. Livichich, Oscar Rial, and J. Carlos Tizzi, with Santiago Poggi later joining the group. In 1971, Miguel Livichich departed to form his own band.
