Ken Lee, the creative force behind Eleven Shadows, was born in Frankfurt, Germany, and later moved to the U.S. He is of Chinese ancestry, with a hint of Mongolian heritage. Ken has a decade of classical piano training and began his artistic journey by recording experimental sounds on cassette. He created unique recordings of fictional radio stations, featuring commercials for non-existent products, imaginary concerts, and eclectic playlists that blended rock, Bollywood, and experimental music, often punctuated by tests of the Emergency Broadcast System. Eleven Shadows is not a solo project; it features the talents of acclaimed singers Esther Tessel and Judy Neubauer, acoustic bassist Connie Deeter, Tibetan bowl and bell player Richard Lanchester, and seductive percussionist Jim McGrath, among other skilled musicians.
