Elisha LaVerne is a Soul/R&B vocalist and writer from South London, UK, known for her role as the lead singer of the international event band “Ambassador.” From a young age, Elisha was passionate about music, engaging in studio work, performances, and musicals throughout her life. In her late teens, she collaborated with a producer who introduced her to Dugout Productions, where she worked with Maxi, his brother, and personal manager Tony Hearne to create her debut EP. Her second single, "I Like What You Do To Me," gained traction in HMV Tokyo, Japan, and caught the attention of Ken Sato, head of A&R for international acts at Avex Inc. Japan, leading to a major recording deal. Since then, Elisha has toured internationally, collaborated with artists like Maxi Priest, and continued to lead Ambassador. In 2010, she signed another recording deal with Star Base, a record company in Tokyo, and released her seventh album, “361 Degrees,” on March 2, 2011, which debuted at number 2 on the iTunes charts in Japan.
